Qualifications to post a job on Restless Bandit

We accept real, active job listings from direct employers, recruiters and staffing firms.

Restless Bandit is designed to help you fill specific jobs, not a pipeline—each posting should represent a genuine, currently available job.

Job board representatives and other third party providers may not post directly to restlessbandit.com. Please contact sales at sales@restlessbandit.com for details.

Provide equal opportunity for all candidates

Jobs posted to Restless Bandit must be made available to qualified candidates regardless of age, race, gender and sexual orientation.

Respect candidates' privacy

Information gathered in the application process should be shared carefully within your company only, and never made available to third parties.

Don't post offensive content

We know, this sounds obvious... but please take time to consider whether a reasonable person could potentially misunderstand or consider any aspect of your listing to be inappropriate or offensive—if they could, the visibility of your job may be affected.

Keep the listing title the same as the job title

Make it the same as the job title would appear on a business card—no extra information, selling points, or clickbait.

The job description is the place for details like work location, salary, required degrees, and company perks.

Only post your own jobs

To post a job, you need to be an authorized representative of the employer seeking to fill that position.

Only post specific jobs that are currently opening

Please be authentic in every job listing. Each one has to be for a specific, genuine position that is currently open.

Don't try to manipulate the system

Keyword stuffing, "gaming the system", and other types of shenanigans will only harm your ability to get the best matches here. Our algorithms are leagues more advanced than regular job boards, so you don't need to use those tactics to get good results—in fact, they'll have the opposite effect!

Tell the truth

We learned it in kindergarten, and it still stands. Be honest—make sure you provide the real details for all of your jobs, including location, duties, and whether the job is being offered directly by the employer, or by a recruiter on the employer's behalf.

Required job information for every listing

Every job listing has to include:

  • Job title
  • Date Posted / Opened (if automating the job posting via xml feed)
  • Reference number (if automating the job posting via xml feed)
  • Job Detail URL or email address for direct apply
  • Job location
  • Job description: descriptions should be detailed and include at least 30 words.
Reasons your job listings might be removed

Some of the things that may cause your listings to be removed include, but are not limited to:

  • Advertisement of sexual services or seeks employees for jobs of a sexual nature.
  • Commission-only opportunities that are not clearly marked as commission-only and/or do not describe the product or service being sold.
  • Complaints from users
  • Content or links to content that exploits people in a sexual, violent or other manner, or solicits personal information from anyone under the age of 13.
  • Content or customer violates local, national or international laws, including but not limited to laws related to labor and employment, equal employment opportunity and employment eligibility requirements, data privacy, data access and use, and intellectual property.
  • Content that is not a job opportunity, but rather an attempt to sell, promote or advertise products or services.
  • Domestic roles such as personal assistant, nanny, housekeeper, etc.
  • Duplication, including excessive replication of jobs between locations in close proximity.
  • Endorsement of a particular political party, political agenda, political position or issue, or promotion of a particular religion.
  • Requiring jobseekers to pay for a service in order to apply, pay for training, pay for training materials or pay for samples.
  • Job description contains city information that does not match job location.
  • Job title doesn’t accurately represent job description
  • Inaccurate, false, or misleading information
  • Indicates any screening requirement or criterion in a job posting where such requirement or criterion is not an actual and legal requirement for the posted job.
  • Pyramid schemes, "club memberships", distributorship or multi-level marketing opportunities
  • Relocation requirements are not clearly stated
  • Pyramid schemes, "club memberships", distributorship or multi-level marketing opportunities.
  • Requests for the use or donation of human body parts, including, without limitation, reproductive services such as egg donation and surrogacy.
  • Requires the applicant to provide information relating to his/her (A) racial or ethnic origin (B) political beliefs (C) philosophical or religious beliefs (D) membership of a trade union (E) physical or mental health (F) sexual life (G) the commission of criminal offenses or proceedings or (H) age, except where allowed by applicable law.
  • The job ad is not active or there is no meaningful opportunity for the jobseeker.
  • The job listing contains no real information about an opportunity.
  • The job does not appear to be real.
  • There are offers within the application flow.
  • Contains third party job content (if you have third party content, contact us to explore opportunities to partner with us.)
  • Requires upfront or periodic payment from jobseeker or requires recruitment of other members, sub-distributors or sub-agents.
  • Use of name(s), logo(s) or trademark(s) of companies unaffiliated with job poster.
  • Unpaid jobs and/or internships
  • Casting calls, auditions for modeling, acting and/or talent management.
  • The job entails "mystery shopping"
  • The job requires employees to perform surveys and/or participate in opinion, clinical and/or market research studies.
  • Pay structure is based on a lead generation model.
  • Direct employer is not a registered business entity
  • Includes virtual marketplaces, classifieds, online bulletins or platforms that provide distribution and/or collection of services, jobs, talent or personnel.

Restless Bandit reserves the right, with no liability or penalty, to remove any job posting, content, communication or information posted, which in the sole judgment of Restless Bandit, violates or may violate our Terms and Conditions, applicable laws, rules or regulations; may adversely affect Restless Bandit; is false, inaccurate, misleading, deceptive, fraudulent, libelous, defamatory, immoral, offensive, obscene, pornographic, disruptive, threatening, abusive or illegal; or which may violate or lead to the violation of the rights of, or harms or threatens the safety and privacy of any third party.
